I like what you wrote here. It is in how we use the system we build for ourselves. Personally, I built my retrieval to return reference links with the information ask so I can verify and check. I only needed faster retrieval and aggregation - not something to do the thinking for me.

This is a subtle gap with AI usage. I have been experimenting over the last 3 week with various use cases. I’m fortunate enough to be a quick learner and identify when something is off. There are two sides to this gap: 1. How we develop and deliver prompts to convey context 2. The AI’s understanding of domain best practices and workflows.

This doesn’t mean you won’t achieve your end goals by working with AI it just means you need to be cognizant of gaps and know your prompts might be introducing them.
