It Used to Be Obvious

There was a clear difference between doing something once and doing it a hundred times.

That difference wasn’t just numerical.

It was physical.

Time increased. Effort increased. Complexity increased.

If you wanted more output, you had to invest more of something.

More hours. More attention. More coordination.

Producing at scale meant committing to a longer process.

That process created friction.

And that friction gave the result weight.

You could feel how big something was before it even existed.
