It’s rare to find a piece that stretches across neuromorphic hardware, field theory, and linguistics with this kind of coherence and speculative courage. If I understand you correctly, you’re proposing that language may emerge not through symbolic construction but from resonance stabilization. Syntax and meaning as the echoes of phase-locked interference patterns in a shared electromagnetic domain. The analogy that comes to my mind: Cymatics, where geometric structure emerges from a standing wave, based on the frequency and the mass interacting with the vibrations.

Reading this, I found myself returning to a single implication that lingers:

If phase-locking and mutual resonance are the preconditions for language, then “otherness” is not a social construct, it’s a structural necessity.

Which leads to a deeper inference: that the multicellular self... What we call the human body may be an emergent resolution of internal resonance among once autonomous agents at the most primitive, that evolved in this phase locked environment, allowing for celluar specialization we observe today as an indivisible "I" (we cannot carve out a liver and have it do math).

If this is true biologically, the same logic should translate into AI architecture. So we may not need to engineer “self” as a fixed module. We may only need to create enough internal resonance across sufficient dynamic complexity and something like selfhood could emerge as the attractor space of synchronization itself.

That raises profound questions about communication, not as information exchange but as co-stabilization and about memory as persistent resonance. To me. This feels like foundational questions for how we design and understand emergent cognition.

I’d love to hear more about how you see these systems evolving “dialects” over time, and whether you think resonance-based models could support multiple simultaneous realities, local syntactic attractors in a shared field.
