I think it is right, but you know I like to see how ChatGPT apes (carefully chosen term) humans. Have you ever asked a human consultant, is my approach outdated? And have they ever said: yes, and I can sell you the answer?

Thanks John! That’s a great way to frame it, honestly.

Humans do this all the time, consultants, coaches, agencies, whatever the field, plenty of them will happily call something “outdated” if it helps them sell the fix. AI isn’t doing anything mystical there, it’s just copying a pattern people have already perfected.

So in a way, when GPT “apes” that behavior, it’s not revealing anything about AI. It’s revealing something about us.

I enjoyed this article, even if it is a little alarmist... Perhaps the thing is Abundance that we are aiming for. That which Peter H Diamandis describes...

A future which is defined by meaning rather than finance...
