Why It Knows You and That Changes Everything
Most people still call AI a tool.
That word is comforting. It implies distance. Control. Something you pick up and put down.
But tools do not learn who you are.
AI does.
Right now, people are already using AI in very different ways. Roughly speaking, most treat it like Google on steroids. A smaller group, that I like to call the specialists, uses it to build, strategize, and ship real work. Finally, a tiny fraction pushes into exploratory territory, using AI to think, reflect, and test boundaries, these are the explorers.
Different uses. Same outcome.
No matter which group you are in, the system is learning you in the background. Your language. Your interests. Your habits. Your patterns.
That single fact breaks the tool metaphor completely. And once you see that, how you use AI starts to matter more than what it can do.
