AI Has A Constitution Now
But Does It Follow It?
AI Safety Is Getting More Specific
AI safety used to sound broad.
Be helpful.
Be harmless.
Avoid dangerous outputs.
Reduce bias.
Do not hallucinate.
Follow the rules.
That language still matters.
But it is vague.
And vague safety is hard to test.
Now the frontier labs are moving toward something more specific.
Written behavioral rulebooks.
Model specifications.
Constitutions.
Documents that say, in detail, how a model is supposed to act.
